Want to get your hands on the most talked about kit on the market? Well, luckily for you, Rapha have it for sale.
Rapha and Palace Skateboards have collaborated to create a capsule collection currently being worn by the WorldTour team EF Pro Cycling at this year’s Giro d’Italia.
In addition, the team’s livery have received a complete overhaul that will see the entire fleet of Cannondale race bikes and POC helmets and eyewear decked out with a distinct design from Palace.
Instead of mirroring the pink of the race’s maglia rosa, the switch out kit features a fearless design that might not be steeped in cycling history but will now form a part of it. Rapha and its designs regularly celebrate the sport and cycling history whilst Palace is disruptive, witty and always surprising; authentically straddling the worlds of high fashion, streetwear and core skate. The result of the collaboration is a team kit quite unlike any other seen in the peloton so far. It got eyes popping, tongues wagging and all attention on Twitter was pointed towards the kit. It also got the team handed a £5,000 fine for not wearing regulation kit for the opening ceremony at the Giro.
Now you can own it, if you’re a Rapha CC member. The Rapha + Palace collection will be available further afield, with exclusive early access for members of the Rapha Cycling Club on the 9th October. Through rapha.cc, the collection will be available to members who were active on or before Sunday, 4th October or have renewed a previously lapsed membership since that date.
Pricing for the range hasn’t been confirmed yet and do not worry if you’re not a Rapha club member, Palace will also be selling the kit via their website from 11am on Friday 9th of October.
